I want to tell you all about this new product I was introduced to recently called Vigil. Basically it's a portable flood alarm, designed for camping as well as for home and commercial use. The product was designed by Kebz, a start-up based out of Denver, Colorado. It's a small device you can keep in a backpack and you basically stick it in the ground and it will sound an alarm when surrounding bodies of water begin to rise suggesting impending floods.
