Must do things to pack for a Summer camp

People who loves camping usually goes to camp during summer. It is this time of the year where friends and families bond through camping. The most anticipated season for campers to unwind and free themselves of stress from work. Fewer expenses and not need to travel far, all you need to be with is nature.

For newbies, there are a lot of things to consider what to pack for summer camping. Mostly kids who are at lost of ideas and need guidance from their parents if ever they chose to go to a summer camp. These list of qualities of a good camp should be able to help them gear up and get ready for their first summer camp.

First, you must be able to find a good camping area near to your place or at least the nearest to your home and have met your requirements in terms of setting and a quiet place and away from distractions. This way it can give you a good comfortable way to bond with your family and friends.

Next is the safety status of the area where you are planning to camp. Always think of your family's safety first. Explore and check the camping site. Make sure that there are no wild animals roaming around the area or a ravaging lake.

Be ready at all times, bring all the necessary and important things to camp.

1. Medicines, a protocol before heading into a camp. You don't go without a first aid especially when you have kids with you. You must be able to provide medicines incase someone needs medical care or worst an emergency case. Be sure to bring some anti bug lotion or a mosquito net especially when the area is known to have lot of bugs and insects. Always remember that prevention is better than cure.

1. Proper clothing. Calculate the days on your stay so that you will be able to bring the right amount of clothes that you will need. Jackets, gloves and socks must be brought incase of abrupt changes in weather.

2. Pockets Knives. It should come in handy especially during crisis but only be handled by adult.

1. Food. It will be sensible enough if you have more than what you needed. Don't expect that there could be a store nearby wherein you could just buy food anytime. Remember that you are at camp. It should be more enjoyable if you thinking like you are a survivalist.

1. Emergency lighting. Some camping sites have their own source power or electricity. You may need some flashlight or any emergency lighting in case of shortages or brownout may occur anytime. Bring also some extra batteries for emergency cases.

In summary, going camping need not to best and expensive. The cheaper, the better. But bringing along the basic or the essential things are very significant since going to camp can be very unpredictable.
