Entre estas últimas, la agricultura y la ganadería sufren numerosos daños que van en aumento. FAO alerta de que los daños en cultivos, bosques, ganadería y pesca es cada vez mayor, con el consiguiente riesgo que supone para la alimentación mundial. El último informe de este organismo cifra en cas 24% los daños que los desastres climatológicos causan en el sector primario, porcentaje mucho más elevado de que lo que se pensaba al principio.
