New Brunswick or Nova Scotia

Returning to Canada later this year to settle after spending almost all my life in Europe. Which of these two provinces are better for a retired but active couple in their 50s ? Any thoughts ?

New Brunswick's a quiet little boring province, Nova Scotia has the Trailer Park Boys and Swearnet studios. Personally, I'd choose Nova Scotia. Specifically, the Dartmouth area.

If you have not done so already, check out StatsCan website. While it may not seem important to the avg person, things like yearly rainfall, mean temps, amount of sunshine/day, etc. are pretty important when you're making a permanent move. NB appears to be more conducive to an active lifestyle, unless you enjoy buckets of rain. Link below shows substantially more rain in NS. NB is also warmer.

Hope this bit of info is useful. Cheers!
