Justin Trudeau's attempt to generate good PR by handing out out free donuts to steelworkers went about as well J.D. Vance's plan to do a campaign video of him ordering donuts. Maybe politicians should just lay off the donuts!
Of interest to political knowledge experts is that some of the stuff the worker berates Trudeau for (e.g. - not having access to a family doctor), is actually primarily a provincial responsibility in Canada. Voters in federal systems often confuse such things. But, obviously, it would have been awkward for Trudeau to try to point that out.
