TV Wall Mounting

The wall mounting of televisions has really taken off in recent years for many reasons which include: space-saving - optimum viewing experience - less risk of damage to your wall-mounted TV and it is also about the aesthetics of your room.

In the majority of TV wall mount installation we undertake, we will conceal all the cables inside the wall and use two types of plaster (undercoat and finishing plaster) to leave your wall ready to decorate.

We always advise our clients to allow at least two days for the water to completely evaporate out of the plaster before painting or papering over.

Many of our customers may have recently decorated their walls and do not wish to have the wall where the TV will be mounted and cables disturbing the wall.

1. If you should happen to live in a house that has drylined walls we can
   sometimes run all the cables to the TV in the gap behind the back of the
   plasterboard and the brick or breeze block behind.

2. If the wall you require your TV to be wall-mounted upon is an external wall then we can use an external conduit to run the cables in. We always use a conduit which is the same color as your gutters-down spouts or window frames.

1. The last option which, we are not keen to install is in internal trunking which basically the cables going to your TV are housed in. At the end of the day, this is your house and your room and like ourselves we want you to be happy.
