Childhood cancer survivors face an 80% chance of adverse health effects later in life. These health effects are called “late effects”
and include things like secondary cancers, metabolic/endocrine dysfunction, brain damage, neuropathy, pain, fatigue, etc.The BC Cancer Agency and BC Children's Hospital recently launched LEAF for adult survivors of childhood cancer. If you received cancer treatment in British Columbia as a child, you are eligible for this program! If you've had cancer at young age, had heavy chemo, or any radiation, you're at especially high risk. Many children are discharged from Children's Hospital at 17 with no plan for follow-up care and no information on "late effects".
So far, LEAF is down with my leaf use :) It looks like I might finally get the Health Canada paperwork for cannabis so that police can stop taunting me with their ability to harass and assault me for not having enough paperwork. I also look forward to no more wrongful evictions and no more getting blackmailed by roommates.
I will not consume Licensed Producer (LP) weed - I'm going to grow my own with @drutter or designate someone else to. LP weed is government weed. It is inferior quality, low potency, and sprayed with horrible "approved" pesticides like cyclobutanol which turns into hydrogen cyanide when burned. They've also been caught using "unapproved" pesticides, and this also applies to the so-called "organic" LPs.
This was my first (and so far my only) medical documentation of cannabis of any kind. I just got it in November 2017. Sadly, it's not always good enough.

I got my "official" paperwork right before it was announced that medical users can get their cannabis from the government recreational market - which means toxic sprays/pesticides, intentional low potency and inaccessibility.
