WOW! CBC PROMOTES SUGAR CONSUMPTION WITH CHILDREN!! #NationalCandyMonth

It is sad how so many kids have become such picky eaters that just want to eat the crap poison and think that vegetables taste bad.

I like the have some candy once in a while but only the organic stuff without all the nasty artificial sugar. It is also fun to make homemade candy from maple syrup or honey. Besides the dentist giving suckers the other place that is always giving kids candy is the bank when you go though the drive through.

In regards to people having trouble getting kids to eat their vegetables that was never an issue with me growing up. Just the other day I harvested stinging nettle and thistle and had is for dinner. It was very good even though it is really time consuming to remove all the prickles from the thistle. If you see some stinging nettle you should harvest some since it is super nutritious! just use gloves so you don't get stung and after you cook it or dry it all the sting goes away.

Foraging for wild edibles is a really good activity and a good skill to learn. Even if you live in the city you can still find wild edibles you just need to look in the right places.
