I finally gave in and went to a bakery near my town that sells candy apples with all kinds of extra goodies, including caramel, peanuts, and even chocolate but I decided peanuts would be the good, classic choice. It has a perfect combination of crunch from the peanuts and apple and hard candy coating, but then you get the soft inside of both the peanuts and apples. I am convinced that while candy is obviously amazing and brings us a lot of joy, the combination of candy and natures candy itself, the fruit, really is an unbeatable one. You get the amazing natural jolt of energy and ease but then the mancrafted sugar finds its way to your mind and immediately gives you stress relief and joy.
