I returned last night of course, to Candyland and I found that in parts of the world they use sugar itself for sales and any transactions as their currency. Everyone carries around a sort of fanny pack or perhaps a sack on the front of their belt that they will take a spoonful of and pay for the items at the local stores. It was an interesting system and of course sometimes this would result in sugar falling on the floors of various places, so there was an entirely unique job dedicated to just sweeping the sugar up, which helped to employ a lot of the young people so they would have an entry level sugar job.
