Hi Juan. Yes I think so. Although we get about 12 hours daylight we are still waiting for summer, so the sun is on an off all day.

Once an aunt told me that for lack of fertilizer, urine could be used. It contained urea. I don't want to urinate a plant very much, hahaha
I tell you this because here, due to the economic situation, we have had the need to plant our own food: banana, plantain, yucca, papaya, peppers.
I've also been told that marijuana is very resistant to weather conditions. Yes small amounts are legal in Spain.
You can grow for your own use and you can get a licence to sell to special clubs.
Your friend missed a good opportunity I am sure he could have kept it hidden.
We have plenty of water here so I think I will give urine a miss although we do pump the water from our septic tank onto the garden and compost heap.
I think everyone should try and grow their own food.
