Hi Steemians! So my Solo Cup contender is coming along nice! I flipped the light schedule to a 12/12 a few days ago, and the Tall Happy Jamaican is stretching!

I am amazed how this plant is thriving in such a small space to root.

No signs of sex yet, should be any day though

I just have the Solo Cups sitting next to the big gals. Im sure they are very intimidated. But who knows, maybe they will be inspired to grow as big as the gals in the 3 gallon pots! So 3 days in flower, that means in about 7 days I will be seeing some nice pre flowers. Very excited to have a new strain flower. It's like growing for the first time all over again.

She's looking tall and sexy! Looks like you'll avoid the problems of root lock etc.
A potentially winning tip: scoop out the top inch or two of soil, and replace with fresh stuff loaded with flowering nutrients. You could even take the cup off, wash the roots, and replace in a fresh cup of soil. Any little advantage that doesn't break the rules will get you not only closer to winning, but more likely to have a successful and healthy flower for medicine.
Looking forward to hearing how you enjoy the bud, and if you decide to add the strain to your regular rotation!
I generally do a different strain each time I grow, provides a little extra challenge and fun.
Grow in peace :)

Thanks bud!

Looking good :)
