top five things to buy with your steem this week1 (1).jpg

Ok, so a bit of creative license with the title there, you're obviously gonna have to cash out your Steem into Bitcoin before you can buy any of these but I'm gonna pressume you clever little steemians know how to do that so I won't go into that here!

If your anything like me you will often find yourselves distracted... your mind wondering... dreaming about that coin you got into 2 months ago at 6 satoshis, that was supposed to go to 200 within the next few weeks and hasn't move a fucking millimeter.

Yep, we've all been there, clinging onto ever weaker threads of hope about any future profits like a washed up Jimmy Savile impersonator.

Yet we never give up! We never surrender! We stand strong in the face of adversity... or sell walls! It's all or nothing out here in the wild wild west of altcoins and I'm heading for the moon! let's all hope it's a soft landing and not a cluster fuck!

Shit, I almost got distracted there... now back to the day dreaming! Here's my weekly rundown of the top 5 things you can actually buy right now, this second with your coins! Ok some of them are outlandish, but it doesn't hurt to keep one's fingers and toes crossed! Unless you try walking on them, which is actually quite painful, so yeah.... don't do that, don't be me!

4. Bulk Load of New Books 2 x 40 ft Containers

Untitled design (4).jpg

Once upon time an old, old man decided to open up a book shop. He had worked in one as a teenager and figured it would be a good way to spend his retirement. So he bought a million dollars worth of books and found himself a nice little spot, right on the main street of his little village.

Rent was high but he figured hey, there's no other bookstores in town and everyone reads right? Then his 4-year-old grandchild told him what Amazon was, and now that old, old man lives in the park. Don't be this guy either! I'm pretty sure there's a lesson in there somewhere but anyway.....

He's got two 40 ft Hi-Cube shipping containers full to the brim of new books. there's over 230,000+ and this geezer's got the lot. my personal favorite is the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, a gripping read.

He's got fiction (top/popular titles and authors, New York Times Best Sellers) and non-fiction such as self-help, health, pregnancy, baby care, medical, fitness, pet care, cooking, learning languages, and language translation(estimated RRP $2.2 Million USD).

I've been meaning to get back into books. Let's help this guy out and get him out of the rain! Oh, wait, whats that, its gonna take 2 months to be shipped to me! Fuck that I'm going to Amazon!

5. 6 Bottles of Red Wine 1967 Chateau Lafite Rothschild

Untitled design.jpg

So we've got the house, the car, we've even got a shit ton of books that we'll never read. Now, all we need is some ridiculously expensive old looking wine and the package is complete. We can sit back on the deck of our boat, sipping a glass of the finest.

There's some serious background to this stuff, this rich guy sold it to that rich guy, who in turn sold it to another rich guy who gave it to his even richer friend. Apparently, they call it the "kings wine" Thomas Jefferson use to drink this shit.

If only.....

Dude, I was just hoping to pay my mortgage every month and pay off my car with altcoin. Once I do that, I'll set some higher goals, like maybe a summer home in New England, so I can get out of this miserable tropical heat and humidity. :)

I'd swap tropical heat for this london weather anyday!
where you from?

Florida. This time of year (essentially June to September) is truly miserable. Hot, humid, like a swamp outside, and raining all the time. When it's not raining, you still don't want to go anywhere, because the humidity and heat are brutal.

I'm from here, but I've never gotten used to the summers. I did live in New England for four years about a decade ago, and while winters there are awful, summers are lovely. If I could have a summer place there and a winter place here, it would be perfect.

Nice post, mostly of these items are a little out of my price range though. Gonna have to wait until Steem reaches Β£1000 ;)
