I’ve only done this once before. It was several months before my Malamute Bandit passed away. This was back in late 2014/early 2015. He was suffering from the big C and I had heard that Cannabis Infused Coconut Oil could help with some symptoms or to even keep the terrible disease at bay. So I whipped up a batch and that was that.
Fast forward to today and my beautiful 15 1/2 year old husky Bindi is suffering from Degenerative Myelopathy. She is doing very well with the supplements we are giving her but I do see things progressive at a quicker rate in recent months. At night she paces around and seems a bit anxious so I’m hoping this will help ease her mind a bit and help her feel more relaxed.
My parents pup Chloe is also going to be receiving the oil I’m currently making as I type this. She had a seizure fir the first time about 2 weeks back and my pops took her in. They did some X-Rays and found a mass on her lungs. They are giving her a steroid to hopefully help potentially shrink it but I want to start her on this as well. Surgery is unfortunately not an option so I’m hoping that the oil can help as well.
This strain is supposedly perfect for what I need it for which is pain management and relaxation. It is also highly recommended to help combat Cancer, Arthritis, and Anxiety. I’ll do a bigger write up with more pics once done. This will take about 5 more hours to complete.
My pups are my world and I would do anything for them. Even spend $280 bucks on a ounce of choice bud to turn it into oil. Here’s to positive thoughts on this. Have any of you here any have any backround with this?
I look forward to paying out the steps I took and hearing any critiques or advice from those who have been down this road before.

It was just old, and stopped eating. After the oil, it would eat like normal.

Me as well brother. The supplements we have been giving my girl Bindi have really helped but I see her disease progressing a bit quicker in recent months. Hoping to help stave that off if possible. If not it’ll most definitely help her relax a bit at night when she’s anxious and a bit achy.
As for my parents pup Chloe...really hoping to help with that growth if indeed it is Cancer.

That’s basically what I’m trying to do. Buy more quality time. If it can help keep things at bay for a bit that’s a bonus s d is what I’m ultimately hoping for but quality of life is the main goal.

Uhhhhh a friend of mine. Yea, he says set the oven to 220 degrees, put in on some wax parchment paper and run it through in the oven for an hour. That’s called the process of “Decarboxylation” and activates your product. Once that’s done put it in a glass jar(an old pasta sauce glass jar will do) with the oil, closed the jar tight. Then put the jar back on the stove in a pot of water. Start to boil the water.(put the jar in cold water, then start to boil, don’t want to break it by dropping it into boiling water) let that boil for about an hour. This in fuses the two. Drain the product from the oil. Your oil is now super charged medicine. Hope this helps!Any questions I could ask my friend! 😉

I did the oven thing for 30 mins. Now I’m boiling it in what is a makeshift double boiler. But I was told to let this sit for hours while stirring every 20-30 mins. Is there any benefit or negative effects to keeping it going for that long or is the job done after an hour regardless? Am I just wasting my time now? Please...ask your friend...

😂😂texted him real quick! In his experience an hour should do the trick! Next time do the oven for an hour. Probably wasting your time after an hour, shouldn’t really get “more” out of doing it longer. That’s the method he always uses and the medicine is REAL strong or so he says! 🤣
