The Colorado State Senate Democratic Caucus tweeted today, "Well give Jeff Sessions our legal pot when he pries it from our warm, interesting to look at hands." Jeff Sessions decision to attack this industry has been causing waves across the board. Not only is it an attack on our right to govern ourselves, it's an attack on an industry that supports small business and local communities. An industry that is helping to support treatment programs for much more dangerous drugs. Colorado Senator Cory Gardner was quoted saying "Sessions is trampling on the will of the voters." Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren called his actions "reckless" and went on to encourage other politicians to take a stance on protecting the states rights to decide for themselves.
Will this attack be the catalyst to full federal decriminalization of marijuana? It certainly appears like the support for it is there, and the willingness to continue this lie and unlawful prohibition fading.

I predict that after a "change of heart" he will change his mind and maybe even endorse "responsible use" and earn the favor of the masses just in time.

I looked into Jeff Sessions a bit and was kind of surprised what I found. Throughout his political career he has always seemed to be a guy that was for the people. This attack seems uncharacteristic of what he once stood for. Is it that now that he is attorney general he feels like he has "won" and no longer needs the support of the people? Is it just a stage to him and now that he feels like he is backstage he can let his true flag fly?
