Are Canada's new Cannabis Laws Too Strict?

Hehe, true. Just to clarify, I believe they're not prohibiting weed apparel, they're prohibiting private retailers selling weed apparel. So if you make it yourself, or buy it elsewhere, or get it from the official government shops, nothing is stopping you. Basically, they're cornering the market, on everything even the glassware.

That's almost worse, man. lol

It's quite silly and/or dangerous and/or corrupt! Lots of patients are losing access because of this recreational legalization. They're supposed to buy from the rec market now, which is artificially expensive, low quality, and limited strain selection. Also, rec is limited to dry flower (no extracts or edibles). I could go on and on, hahah. Much of the new laws are unconstitutional and will be "Charter challenged" as soon as they're used to charge someone. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. The black market doesn't intend to give up, and they know that. They're banking on it! Enforcement makes them a lot of money (and power).
