Growing without fertilizer or special equipment, you wouldn't think a few plants could get out of hand quickly. Think again! These Steem OG seedlings are just 7 weeks old, ready for their 2nd transplant, fresh soil, and another growth spurt.
But where does all the material for those big leaves come from? What about all the fibre for that thick woody stalk? With nothing but water being added, how could the soil be sustaining such vibrant growth?
Amazingly, cannabis plants require nothing but air, light, water, and soil. From those building blocks, which are almost completely free, we can turn a few seeds into this thick green garden in just 49 days.
I'm going to "flip" them into flowering stage quite soon, and with the same 4 building blocks, grow a bouquet of flowers which I'll dry, cure, and extract into medicine for treating cancer and PTSD. It will all be documented here on the blockchain :)
Grow in peace,
DRutter
Yyeeeeeeaah! Go Steem OG! Awesome strain :)

I'm so proud of my little Steem OG babies :)
I posted a picture of their Grandma (Tahoe OGxOG) on Twitter recently, good memories man. We bred out the mother strain after I found a nice vigorous male, Inca Gold, and Jon pollenated (creating Santa Rita OG).
He used that strain to create Steem OG after that when he back bred it with the original strain I believe.

Yeah, the green thumb begins to throb and itch!
I get quite upset if I don't at least have SOMETHING green on the go. Even if it's small like this little indoor garden, it's enough to stop me from going crazy. Sometimes, when spring comes early and the sun is shining, but I don't have any plants going, I'll literally pull my hair out. It's a terrible feeling! But so satisfying and pleasant once you have some roots in soil. Ahhhh :D

Chemicals make plants taste worse, but grow faster.

Hehehe, at some point we're just going to call it Heinz 57, or "Mutt" :D
A hybrid of a cross between a hybrid and a cross-pollinated back-bred double male hybrid of hybrids! lol
