Cannabis "legalization" is treating vapour (spelled v-a-p-o-r in the USA) exactly like cigarette smoke, a broad and foolish policy that will harm patients, erode civil liberties, and benefit no one except maybe the prohibitionists.
If somebody can buy a generator from Walmart, fill it with gasoline from Chevron, and run it all day at my local park, legally generating toxic and cancerous vapour for all to breathe, I should also be allowed to puff on my CBD pen without facing 3 years in prison.
Banning vapour OUTDOORS is just idiotic! Indoors, maybe, but outside?
It's being treated worse than cigarettes. It's going to be banned in more places than cigarettes, and based on current social norms, it will be fine to continue smoking cigarettes in prohibited places like at bus stops and in doorways where children are affected. Meanwhile cannabis smokers who keep their distance will be heckled by dumbass parents who practically blow carcinogenic cigarette smoke into children's faces.

I love saltspring. I was part of a Grade 11 group (in the 90s) which traveled BC to do kayaking, cycling, glacier skiing, etc. We spent a full week exploring Saltspring. It was one of the most magical times of my life to this point, and I imagine, forever.

I actually have plenty of people let me use my pen inside just because it smells so delicious!
People get so amped up off of facebook propaganda these days they forget to look into facts themselves!
I understand that there is a right to be upset if I bend down and blow vapour in a kids face like a menacing deviant.
In my experience though every decent human that uses a vaporizer of some sorts makes a point of not blowing it directly in someone elses direction :P
