Hello steemians, I starting to grow my own cannabis plants, however I'd like to get some help and tips from you guys, I grew the seeds in a piece of wet cotton first and then I am currently using substratum to plant them. They grew about 5cm already , so I have a few questions before I prepare their space:
- Is it better growing outdoors or indoors?
- How can I get a higher TCH when growing them?
- What are some good tips you can give me?
- And the most important, how to keep bugs away?

Thanks in advance looking forward to steemians help!

with the tech now, its better to grow inside but space and electricity come into play. the best way to get max thc is to cure properly. start by pulling clean dry air through the bud. then after doing that for a week then put them in mason jars and open it a few times a day gradually going to once a day to release moisture. most of the moisture should be evaporated after 2 weeks in the mason jar. Also as far as bug control i use diatomaceous earth. give it a shot, and good luck.

Hi, thanks so much for your help, I've never heard of Diatomaceous I will definitely give it a try, maybe I can find some on amazon, and based on your comment and on what I've been reading online I'm thinking I will build an indoors set up, thanks upvoted and following!

Please Do Research

before you jump from the airplane! Survival rates are significantly higher. ;)
Icmag.com is an excellent place for information. Years of reading material. :D You can also find excellent information on my blog, some of which you'll not easily find elsewhere. Definitely not in books yet. If quality is your goal, definitely read what I post. ;)

DE floats in the air when disturbed, and ends up stuck to cannabis. DE, when inhaled, slices lung tissue and creates a coughing response. Not healthy. Please don't use DE outside the soil, if you can help it. :D

Hola gabo! I dont know anything about marihuana, and I dont like drugs of any kind, they are dangerous if misused... but you can keep the bugs away using Neem, Tobaco and Noni (dont know the name of the plant on english). Be carefull with the Noni and the neem, they are kind of agressive.

Depending on the bugs you want to keep away, you can even use the "borra del café".

I hope that its legal to have marihuana in the country you live, so you dont get in troubles.

Hola Miguel! Thank you so much, I have my garden so I will be using this tips for my other plants! I've been having a lot of issues lately with ants on my Basil plant, hope this works, upvoted and following you!

I use neem with an orange tree to free it of the ants. Look, for the ants you need to know where is the nest, so you can spray the entrance too.

It takes time, but it worked for me.

Again, cannabis is vastly different from fruits and vegetables and neem is not a safe option. Look up "Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome," and you'll find 90% of the cases are actually azadirachtin poisoning (aza is found in neem oil).

Neem is horrible for cannabis. Cannabis holds it inside the plant and keeps it from breaking down. All the "Safe" studies on neem were done with plants which do not do this. Stay away.

Clean cannabis doesn't have anything sprayed on it, or systemically in it during flowering. ;)

im planning to grow one soon, and same as you i haven't planted it in my life, but will give it a try, if it does not grow enough bud, im planning to juice the leaves, i heard it is a also a powerful healing superfood
