The Indigenous Medical Cannabis Association

Really great work it sounds they are doing. Their approach is the most rational I've heard with regards to cannabis. It is the human companion for well over 10,000 years.

We are all indigenous really (all born from the same earth soil as cannabis) and of one tribe, but people who have been established in an area the longest definitely should have the loudest voice to preach those beautiful ideals.

Amazing. Very true that the Canadian government did not include Indigenous people in the roundtable discussions that the Cannabis Task Force held in 2016.

The government documents claim they did. The Mohawks told me differently. I believe the Mohawks and think they will do everything they can to protect their rights. We just have to get the info out to people.

Thank you for commenting @nanukladey! I do appreciate it and have followed you.

Agreed! If they can successfully organize, they will become a very large group of cannabis industry leaders. They want the right to grow hemp and cannabis. Among other things they are looking at it as economic development for their people. They see the herb as medicine, food, fuel and future security for generations to come. They say they want to keep pricing pegged to where it should be...meaning affordable and they want to preserve their genetics. I am planning to go to the next meeting. I'm not First Nations, but I asked if I could attend and they said I could. My goal is to stay on top of what's happening in the Canadian cannabis industry. :)

Being - Being aware of BEing - out of earth a temple of awareness of being - Man, male/female...
from nature, or an aware recognition, awareness of the (sublime) state of 'presence' in organic material form... Awesome! ... and the approach manifests the love, the dedication of relationship parameters that dance the eqilibrium rather the force, enfore etc.. the illusion...
My 'point' the artificial relationship with the artificial and fiat ponzai whatever - money! and that of law, governance based on bullying acceptance of previous brutalities on which to build an honourable appraoch and reality amongst us.
Therefore, with regard to law, there is the Law, and the surrogate 'instilled' (vile word and associations) psydo law.
This is a delicate time and it appears some of our brethren, from peoples of the ridge continent pacific/atlantic ridge... through whom prophecy indicates a transition point of a fork in a road, the on becomes bloody, messy, the other really is a transcendance of this nightmare coagulation.
So I love to read this of the inuit and tribal, expression of Inuk, people relationship, through pot, also to illustrate or loving dependancy on the mother which out Being Source brings forth in continual sustainance (seen from within the eaqually 'created' 'Time'.
Enough from me.
I loved hempsweets comment about us all.
Thankyou for all. (I'm also totaly new here!)

I have followed you and will help where ever I can.

Absolutely amazing! It would be so fitting that a gift from mother nature could restore the beautiful sustainable communities that once dominated these lands.

Since you mentioned the "pricing pegged to where it should be...meaning affordable and they want to preserve their genetics." I will share a couple of things myself and many others are doing for that very specific thing.

Here is the first ever digital paired asset for the first ever decentralized commodities futures market. One HempSweet token = 1 pound of xylitol we will produce from hemp. We plan to then start integrating farmers so each farm/strain gets their own digital asset to sell so they can get the funds to plant their crop. Then they do not have to care who still has rights to the harvest, they just accept their controlled token back. All the while brokers/merchants are trading the token based on their supply and demand. Our hempsweet for xylitol is the proof of concept experiment: https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/HEMPSWEET_BTS

Here is the whitepaper we are starting that describes the project: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wOUBMVbAsWLZS2--0C9QqGOw-2WMHKf0A2cXBFKYl7w/edit?usp=sharing

We would do business with any Nation Tribe. As long as it is not with federal reserve notes. Really though we can get them set up with our organic refinement process, and then immediately buy their xylose (40% of hemp) stream to make our sugar.

This is very cool @hempsweet! I'm enroute to Spain at the moment but I need to delve into what you have created because I can deliver the info to the Mohawks when I get back. :)

Hi @hempsweet,
I had a little chat with my First Nations' friend yesterday. I'll send you a pm on Discord to pass his contact info along to you. :)

I haven't been able to find you set up on Discord for pm. When you pick this comment up, I'll give you the info to make the connections.

Those words ring well..
