Rhode Island pols are busy playing King of the Cannabis hill.

Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo wants to end the 10 year strong tradition of medical cannabis patients growing their own medicine and wants force them into one of the states 3 medical dispensaries (don't worry though 4 more shops are being allowed to set up shop by process of "lottery").

Norman Birenbaum, Raimondo’s director for policies and programs at the Department of Business Regulation, said the move was to crack down on abusers who grow more plants than they are supposed to or give cannabis to non cardholders. She is not the only one who wants to dominate and subjugate Rhode Islanders, and in line to screw you over in favor of giant multinational commercial cannabis.

The problem is RI state house rising star Grant Pikington has been on the fast track to the point where he wasn't aware of his investment partners, and absent-mindedly forgot about a potential conflict of interest. Mattielo was standing up to the Raimondo Gang but timing was a problem, and allow me to paraphrase ....Nicky was saying something about transparenecy and fairness until his political consultant was indicted, then he was like "Ok ...Gina gets the Green-a Machine-a."
