Hi steemians! So one of my Tahoo og x og that was thrown in flower on Jan.15 is starting to flower!

Looking good, except it’s looking like she needs more phosphorus. When in flower the plant needs less nitrogen and more phosphorus to get those buds plumping up.

I want to take this time to show a useful tool for all growers....

This book is a great reference full of years of experience from growers around the world. Let’s take a look at how i used it today..

This pic is a close up of my top leaves..

When i see my leaves looking not good i flip to the Nutreint and defiency page to see if i can diagnose the problem...

So it looks like I’ll be doing a high phosphorus fertilizer dose tonight 👍

If anybody thinks my unhealthy leaves is a different problem please comment below. Flower stage is always tricky for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So that’s it for now on this update and until then everyone stay positive and make the most out of your day!!

Keep those pesky y chcromosomes away and kill all non cisses. Hope the ladies develop well!!

These are all clones. Definitely female👍 What do you mean about cisses though?

Good to hear, cisses I believe are the gender people are born with. Noncisses are those that transition their gender, which perhaps feminized seeds can turn into if you stress them out too much??

Good thing to catch it early, thats a hard one to come back from

There looking great so far, going to give them both a cal/mag treatment next water👍

Actually man, it's better to keep nitrogen low in the beginning and raise it gradually until you meet the needs of your plant. I wouldn't say that you lower nitrogen significantly in flowering though. You go on with your treatment till you reach late flowering. Everything really depends on the ratio, it's much better to use nitrogen injections rarely but in large doses, and rarely I mean not more often than once in 4 weeks. But OGs will need larger amounts of Ca/Mg with additional splash of K around early to mid flowering. These stems will go floppy for sure and that will save them. Nice temp raise with RH drop at the end will add to a quality bud... Fussy strain, but totally doable.

But it's a mumbo-jumbo really if I don't even know how you grow, what medium you use, what's in it etc. Well if you need any help, just drop me a line.

I use buhdda grow and buhdda bloom. Which is a molasses base with bat guano and other stuff. Can’t really think of the rest. I also incorporate fulvic acid. The instructions for beginning of flower is 1-2 teaspoon of the high nitrogen and 1 tablespoon of the high phosphorus. I’m really confused on what is beginning of flower? Is it as soon as i flip them? Is it as soon as i see those white hairs?

Also it’s fox farm soil i use . Thanks for stopping by.

Ok, son technically flowering start around 2-3 days before you actually see pistils. It's hard to figure if you've just set off, but with time you'll see how plants starts forming kinda cup that later pistils start springing from. But yeah it happens more or less when you see these white hairs growing.

When you flip, plants starts adapting to new photoperiod and she stretches 2-3 weeks on average. OG will stretch a fair bit and it's already a rather lanky strain, so you want to get your arms around it and make sure you make these stems and branches strong with LITTLE NITROGEN, cause NITROGEN contributes to bigger water accumulation, which weakens the system if used too often. I recommend starting her on Ca/Mg supplement instead, and leave bat guano out for now.

Alright cool. My next watering will be a cal/mag treatment. 👍 let’s see how it goes. I’ve done well past harvest but plants do end up looking sad. I’m in this to grow the best! Thanks for your input it definitely makes sense to me.

Keep.up the good work I have the same book and it has a lot of knowledge in it.
