9 Strains Cannabis Nursery - Good morning babies

in cannabis •  7 years ago

Let's see what we've got in here, from the bottom to the top, left and right... Moby dick in a hempy pot, Buddha Tahoe in DWC, Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze in the Flo-Gro (love them, gotta get it reviewed), Glueberry OG in DWC, above it is the Pineapple Express in a Fabric pot inside an Autopot (little experiment), 2 Matanuska Tundra/Alaskan Thunderfuck in the Flo-Gro and in a Autopot. There in the back we have Ayahuasca Purple, Moby Dick, White Widow and Tutankhamun.

Vegging a few of them with Advanced Nutrients Iguana Juice and others with the Connoisseur Grow. All of them are being fed also with Advanced Nutrients Voodoo Juice and B52. The B-52 I keep running all the way from seed until the start of the flush, in which flush with the Flawless Finish also by AN.

Any questions regarding these different setups or any other questions are welcome.

hydroponics...do you have a blog on what set up you are using? bless.

I will be posting everything regarding the grow in here on Steem, so just follow me and keep posted. I am vegging and flowering under the Black Dog Phytomax-2, hands down the best LED panel and light spectrum in the market. This picture though was taken when I was still using the Apollo LED, so next one which I will put up soon will be with the Black Dog and they will be looking much bigger. In the flowering tent there is a White Widow and a Moby dick few weeks away from harvest and an auto AK-49. All of them in Autopots. These ones that are being vegged now I hope to slowly start slowly flipping them to flower in a few weeks when they are bigger, a couple at a time until the area is full. So then it will be actually my first time flowering in DWC, Flo-Gro and of course that experiment of mine with the fabric pot inside the autopot. My previous harvests (2 of them) were in autopots and hempy pots.

Nutrients are Advanced nutrients, I am using pretty much everything from their grand master line with the expcetion of Piranha, Tarantula, Bud Ignitor and Nirvana. I run everything at half dose, so 2ml/L for the Connoisseur and 1 ml/L for the additives. I plan to cut back on the additives now that I am running these LEDs, so possibly I can use less products and increase the dose on them a bit.

thank you for the knowledge..am considering growing my own .. as soon as I know which strains..work well for me..big up!

Great, that is actually even therapeutic to take care of them, best thing you can do if you are able to it. About being afraid of the difficulty of it, look, you are a woman, you are wired by nature to generate and give life and then raise this kid to it's best so it can impact society in a positive way, so growing plants should be a piece of cake ;)

Just remember plant food is light, so no need to go really crazy on the fertilizers, plus every plant feeds different. I am sure your have that cousin who eats everything from the table on family dinners and that one that never finishes his plate :) Of course if you can go full organic then even better, there are recipes online for organic super soil specific for Cannabis needs, just you need to mix and let it "cook" under the sun for some weeks before you can use it. Thi way the soil will be a completely separate living entity from the plant with all the microbial life in there, so it will work in synergy with the plant, thus all you gotta do is give good clean water, no nutrients mixing. Cannabis works in many ways like humans if you observe well various different aspects of the plant from reproduction to how it develops.

When you start growing, if you have the space, I would advise going with 1 bigger plant rather than several small ones. And also I would suggest you have at least 2 different strains on hand, because if you consume it regularly tolerance will go up and it will be good to have another strain(s) to rotate. I am sure when that strain isn't hitting anymore the same way it used to be, the last thing you want to do while growing your own is to have to go and buy something just cause you need different. Plus it's always a good idea to have an Indica and a Sativa on hands, imagine you have important stuff to do during the day and u got only a couchlocking indica or it's 3 in the morning, you can't fall asleep and all you have around is a sativa. All the best, medicate!

Following. Love the information. Just please no more autoflowering plants please? Ruderalis isnt a medical strain.

But other than that im loving it. Where you from?

The ruderalis genetics are part of the breed simply to make the plant flower regarless of the photoperiod it is on. This happens because the Ruderalis is native to areas which the days are longer than the nights, making the plant adapt to it. The kind of Cannabis that produces the psychoactive cannabinoids and others needs 12 hours of darkness to start making flowers, so if it receives more than 12 hours of light in a day it will just keep growing and not make flowers, which is what is consumed since the trichomes grow mostly in there. Now, when you cross a Ruderalis with one of these other species you get a strain which will be as psychoactive as the photoperiod strains it has as one of its parents and it will also start making flowers regardless of how many hours of light it receives, be it 12 or even more. You probably already know it all, but it's good to leave it in here for those who didn't.

Now, why in my opinion autoflowers are a good option sometimes? Sometimes 2 weeks extra in the vegetation period can be the difference between a plant that will yield half a kilo and a whole kilo or more. But to have to wait an extra 2 weeks can be too much for someone who is really in a hurry to get some medication, especially if you already have to wait several weeks for the whole thing to be done. So you can put down some autoflowering seeds at the same time you put down your photoperiod ones. This way you can leave the autoflowers wherever there is space for them, be if the flower or veg room, you know they will be done from seeds to harvest in about 2 months and a half and you will not have to hurry putting your photoperiod ones into flowering too early sacrificing a possible extra half a kilo or more, because you know there is already those autos getting ready for you. And believe me, that Six Shooter was one of the nicest strains I grew so far, very nice high, body and head. It yielded about 60 grams dry per plant in 2 and a half months and gave me time to keep the White Widows and Moby Dicks longer in vegging, so now they are yielding as I said about a kilo wet each. I liked this Six Shooter so much I grew another one just to use it entirely for medical RSO.
