Four years ago, it seems that a 31-year-old mother from Bournemouth named Gemma Moss recently smoked half of her joint to help her sleep and never woke up again.
It was a tragic event that quickly generated tabloid titles calling her:
The first woman in the UK who had been fatally intoxicated with cannabis.
As if she had obtained a sports record...
And the titles could have gone further.
The first person in history who died of an overdose of cannabis.
We all know the newspapers just need attention. Even scientists have estimated the potentially fatal dose of cannabis at much more than half the nail.
But let's see, what do you think is the fatal dose of cannabis?
After the scientists analyzes, in more common terms, in order to induce death, a cannabis smoker should consume 20,000 to 40,000 times more cannabis than a joint.
A smoker should, theoretically, consume about 680 kilograms in 15 minutes to induce a lethal reaction.
Let's say you don't read italics easy.
Theoretically speaking, you should smoke between 20,000 and 40,000 joints to commit suicide. In 15 minutes.
Is it possible that Gemma Ross has smoked 600 kg of weed in few minutes?
Autopsy did not find any natural cause for her death.
Said Sheriff Payne, a coroner.
After all these investigations, they concluded that the cause of death was the abuse of cannabis. Again without evidence, but how the authorities have not found another explanation for the fact that a seemingly healthy woman died in her sleep, so why not blame the weed?

You cannot simply overdose on the plant itself. Even the lethal dose of pure thc is very high it is more than 50G in a regular human. I mean even if you tried to kill yourself by pure thc you would be so high you probably could not even move after a while 😅😂

I'll take that bet. I'll report back later with my findings. :)
