The Cannabis Open Carry Walk Revolution in Texas!

in cannabis •  7 years ago

A movement to be able to openly carry cannabis, spearheaded by Kory Watkins, a candidate for governor of Texas and an activist along with other like minded individuals in cities all across Texas!

"The time to get involved and make a stand is now. Do not wait. Find a cannabis carry walk near you and get involved. If there is not one, we can help you start one. Texas will take a big step in cannabis freedom with your help! Take action!

There are events coming up in Abilene, Amarillo, Arlington, Austin, Corpus, Dallas, Greenville, Houston, Lake Jackson, San Angelo, San Antonio, Tyler, Victoria and MORE!

Get out of that comfort zone and get in the streets! <3 #onelove" -Kory Watkins

Basically we gather at a busy intersection in a city and hold signs, waving flags, handing out flyers and just just taking a stand for cannabis and getting the people to see this message! How many non violent people do you know that have been caught up in the system for a plant because of the "war on drugs"? How many people, children, must do without the medical properties of cannabis because of immoral laws and unethical politicians? The time to stand is now!

Here is a video of us at Dallas's first Cannabis Open Carry Walk. Recorded actually by Patrick Smith, a candidate for NOT governor of Texas. In it he interviews fellow activists, myself, cops and believe it or not another candidate running for governor of Texas as an Independent, Danny Harrison.

As always, #Takehumanaction!cocw flyyyrr.jpg

that's a good idea, Boston for many years had a freedom fest where there were simply too many people to arrest. Cannabis is legal there now.

That is awesome! Just takes enough people!

Following you and sharing this. Take action!

Dude yes! Thank you so much :)

Of course!

Open carry cannabis - that's brilliant! We're trying a similar form of civil disobedience right now here in Vancouver. When we can, we vend cannabis in an outdoor farmers market in Robson Square downtown. It is well received by the public - especially those with difficulty accessing medical cannabis, but it is heavily under attack from the city and police, ironically calling us a clandestine operation haha.

That is really cool! I love that! Sucks they are cracking down on ya'll. Seems like the only way to not get messed with is to have a lot of people behund your cause haha That is awesome that you help get it to people who need it. Kudos! lmao "clandestine operation"

Hell, Maybe its time for Canadas open carry cannabis movement?! hahah

Keep up the good work!

Very awesome guys! Keep on keeping up the good fight!

Will do, cant stop, wont stop! Not until we all have the justice and liberty we deserve! Thank you :)

Grear post. In Venezuela children die of hunger, in my most recent post I explain my struggle against the dictatorship in my country. Let us continue giving everything to conquer a better world.
