The first 420 Open Carry was small but successful. Friends gathered to #tokeinpublic, trade and give-away cannabis products, #dabinpublic, eat munchies and cannabis edibles, listen to music, wave protest signs, talk to the public, and of course brandish our nugs and paraphenalia. Some new vendors also showed up to sell seeds, and they seem interested in coming back.
It was nice weather while the sun was out, and the police were only there for a neighbouring protest. Stay tuned for more pics. I can't wait for the next 420 Open Carry rally.

That was really enjoyable, I'm glad we did it. The statement needed to be made (and it needs to be made continuously). The fact that people were dumbfounded by us (and our message) drives it home for me that we need to continue educating and spreading truth about the safe, peaceful, healthy ways cannabis can improve and even save lives. And it's important that people know why government's weed will never be as good as the free market's weed.
