Canna Oil Recipe
5gr Decarboxylated* CO2 oil
150gr Coconut oil
1/2 tsp Soy Lecithin
- Heat the coconut oil had a very low heat. Enough only to melt into a liquid.
- Add the CO2 oil to the melted Coconut oil and mix very slowly to avoid any splashback.
- Sprinkle the Soy Lecithin in a tiny bit at a time to avoid clumping and carry on mixing until a uniform even colour.
- Transfer to a container and allow to set.
- This oil can now be used in place of a small proportion of oil or fat in any recipe.
***1/4 of this recipe in a brownie mix would make some pretty potent treats.***
Decarboxylation**
Decarboxylation is the process in which THC delta 9 loses a carboxyl group to become an active protagonist through ingestion. To allow this to happen heat is used to facilitate this reaction. Cannabis matter (flowers, oil, hash) is heated to around 115 degrees for about 20 minutes (this all depends on moisture content, THC content and potency required.)
