Brownie Scout - GTI Rythm Research

Illinois Medical Cannabis Reviews by Grady Brown

Wow! This is a wonderfully powerful and super tasty indica from GTI Rythm Research! I absolutely love their flowers! As you can clearly see, these are some densely packed nugs which carry a partly cheesy, partly piney smell with a bit of spice. Brownie Scout is a cross between a strain I absolutely love, Platinum Girl Scout Cookies, and Stardawg Guava. I love the Stardawg genetics, but haven't tried Stardawg Guava. The crystals on these buds are some of the shiniest I've seen!

The Effects

This is one of the most potent and highest testing strains I've ever gotten at 31.84% total cannabinoids! This strain will put the casual smoker into a nice couch lock, or maybe even right off to sleep. I am a heavy cannabis user and love my indicas, strains like this are great for me. I get a very nice mellow relaxed vibe from these flowers. I keep coming back to brownie scout, it's one of my top strains.

The Packaging

I am not a big fan of the packaging these flowers have been coming in, but I do know that GTI has been upgrading to bottles as they run out of the bags they have been using. I look forward to seeing the new design in the future!

The Taste

20170626_231848.jpg

For me, this is of the utmost importance. I love a good piney kush, and that's exactly what Brownie Scout delivers. It is a bit on the harsh side of things for smokers sensitive to coughing on heavy strains, this strain is going to have that effect. The alpha-pinene in this strain presents very loudly, with spicy undertones. I love the taste of this strain, but the spice and the harshness make it one I tend not to vape over and over and over because I will start to cough a lot from it.

I'm thinking about coming up with some sort of rating system, but it's so hard to do, there's so many strains I love that I'll be reviewing.

Damn, looks frosty!

Super frosty!

I wish I was in a legal state to do reviews on cannabis.

Even with my medical card, there's still a bit of paranoia because of the social stigma. It's unfortunate.

It isn't social stigma that most are worried about, it is going to jail they are worried about, so they just are very quiet about it.

I never worried too much about jail in my area, as I never had much in terms of quantity. However I work in education so even with the medical card, my job could be at risk! I totally see what your saying though, and I hope some legal change comes to your state!

July 1st my mom will be able to get medical as Indiana just past medical marijuana for those who suffer from Seizures. My mom has had them since she was 5 years old.

you can always move to Colorado :)

Right now in my life, traveling places is fine but family roots keep me planted. So Indiana will always be a home base for me no matter where I travel to. I focus on lobbying to change the laws here and slowly we are starting to see change, as we did finally get it for Seizures and though that might not be much, it is a start.

nothing wrong with what you are doing :)

It starts with education, maybe I can blog about cannabis a bit through an educational manner. I started researching treatments and cures for seizures when I was 6th grade in elementary school at our local colleges library, and came across more than one publish medical journals about marijuana and its healing properties. My mom is excited to be able to try it to see if it works as modern medicine hasn't

I treat for epilepsy myself. I hope you get it soon!

I don't know much about it other than taking hits here back in college parties....

LOL that is what most people know about it

good ole days ;)

Ah, I wish I could smoke and enjoy like I used to... unfortunately, those days are behind me. I was testing out a bunch of strains a few months ago after moving back to Canada, and did find the Platinum Girl Scout Cookies to be one of the better ones that didn't pique me into anxiety - had a great day snowboarding at Whistler on it. Oh how I miss those good old hazy days... haha

Very nice! Good and detailed, now where can I get my...........

Thanks! I look forward to do many more!

Look great. I didn't Illinois was doing it like that haha!

In my humble opinion, we're competing with everyone else!

does this help with back pain? upvoted

I have some spinal conditions cannabis doesn't really help with but I imagine it would for many others!

what exactly is your spinal condition if you don't mind asking.

I've got kyphosis and scoliosis and chronic tightness in the muscles.

you might want to read the book called "bac in control" by Dr. David Hanscom ...u might find it helpful..you can get it on Amazon for a decent price...I hope you will get it..it really might help u
