Cannabis plant medicine can be infused into many different mediums. In bee Honey the secret is to use honey that still contains some beeswax particles. This means that you want to use honey that’s cloudy versus honey that is translucent.

STRAIN NAME | | VOLUME | | THC % | | CBD %
————- | ————- | ————- | ————- | ————-

TWDUKE | 4 g | 18.2 | 0.07

TWD 2 | 3 g | 21.1 | 0.07

SUNSET | 8.8 g | 24.0 | 0.07

SUPERLEMON OG | 3.8 g | 27.9 | 0.07

DONEGAL | 2.5 g | 20.8 | 0.05

LEMON SKUNK | 3.3 g | 22 | 0.07

BEDIOL | 4.0 g | 7.0 | 9.0

TOTAL GRAM WEIGHT 29.4

INFUSED INTO 2 KILOGRAMS OF BUCKWHEAT HONEY

The benefits of using honey are centred around its versatility. It can be used as a sweetener in other foods and beverages. Or, it can be consumed right from a spoon if need be. It provides an alternative delivery method to infused oils, it’s easily transportable and has an indefinite shelf life.

Once the cannabis is decarboxylated, I use a magical butter machine set on 130 degrees F for a run time of 8 hours. Then, I filter the remaining cannabis pulp through a fine mesh strainer while the honey infusion is still warm. The remaining pulp is saved for use in another recipe. I never throw this material out because it’s still fully activated.

The photos of the honey were taken by me, but the actual honey that you can see dripping off the spoon was made by one of my students. He was excited to show me what he had produced following my protocol for infusing honey.

As you can see the honey is lump free and smooth.

I awarded him a gold star. He made some stellar plant medicine that is exceptionally potent, I might add.

1/2 a teaspoon is all that I required.

I welcome your comments and I invite you to follow me on my journey...it turns out I’m skilled at teaching others how to stir the pot too. ;)

You are the goddess of marijuana, hands down !!

I didn't know that honey with the bees wax particles is better. you learn something new everyday. thanks for dropping knowledge @rebeccaryan

That would make some kick ass Mead.

It absolutely is. I get exciting when I think about where we can actually get to by using herbs and fungi.
The sky is the limit, mixing terpene and spore profiles, I think. :)

Terps and spores?! Whoa.... You already had me with the honey. Great post and great info!

Haha! When I read your comment this morning, I didn’t clue in totally...yeah, it would work and I will try it and report back in on it at a later date. I’ve made mead before and racked it for 2 years. I didn’t use cannabis infused honey and when I finally filtred it was some strong-ass hooch. I have a green oil machine so I used it to reclaim the alcohol. When I tested it, it came in at 84 proof. If I can get this up to 94%, I can use that to make RSO/FECO.
Great idea @a1-shroom-spores!

Wow 84 proof off Mead!
Im excited you are trying THC Mead.
Let us all know how that goes!

what an orgy of strains! Is that necessary, or it's only vice?

Yes it is quite the menagerie of strains @sanchezpuukko. In this volume of honey, I recommend using between 25-30 grams of cannabis to produce a potent infusion.
It doesn't matter if you use all the same strain or you use odds and sods to make up the volume by weight.
It's a good way to use up the tail ends of strains that you might have kicking around.
As medical cannabis patients this is often the case...that you'd have a little bit of this and a little bit of that...small quantities of left over strains that you've tried in the past.

I also think that if you find strains that work for your particular condition, combining them can offer a beautiful synergistic approach to treatment.

So, not a vice but more of an advanced technique.

Blending strains for performance is something that a person just evolves into over time as their experience and confidence manipulating the herb, grows.

I love to drink ginger green tea with honey and lemon juice.....you never cease to amaze me with your knowledge of infusions in this wonderful God given plant.

Great stuff never knew mixed with honey! Perfect natural pharmacy wow the benefits. Wish someone in England made this, my father has problems with his pituitary gland? But I would also like some just as a boost 💯🐒

Wow this would ‘bee’ amazing, I’m going to have to try it one day soon that’s for sure! What a great combination

Thanks for this great post. I consul with cannabis farms in Oregon and haven't quite seen this combo on the market yet. Fantastic concept with the benefits of the terps and of course that sweet honey which (astonishingly how little folks know about) is so so good for us. Great job and super excited for you!
