Cannabis is the most usefull plant in the world.
It is the only plant that produces cannabinoids. These are called phytocannabinoids.
Humans and most animals have a network in their bodies called the endocannabinoid system.
In this educational video medical cannabis expert Dr. Dustin Sulak explains your endocannabinoid system and the role it plays in maintaining harmony and balance within your body.
Endocannabinoids are like the body’s natural THC. In fact, endocannabinoids got their name from cannabis. Plant cannabinoids were discovered first. Endo means within, and cannabinoid referring to a compound that fits into cannabinoid receptors.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has released its 2017 World Drug Report, covering 2015 statistics from around the world. The report finds that cannabis is the most consumed, most widely cultivated and most confiscated drug the office tracks.
Despite leading in all of these categories, UNODC reported ZERO fatal cannabis overdoses in 2015, unchanged from 2014.
Personaly I've been using cannabis for many years. It helps me a great deal with painrelief for osteoarthritis.
I think it is a criminal act for any politician not to stand up to change the laws for this beneficial plant.
Many patients suffer needless. People all over the world should be allowed to grow their medicine without any restrictions.

In Belgium cannabis is not allowed. I think it's the prohibition that causes most of the problems associated with cannabis.
What do YOU think about cannabis and plantmedicines?

I believe strongly in utilising every resource available, including cannabis. I am a strong supporter of making vaporisers more available so that people arent inhaling smoke into their lungs, but I think that is my biggest concern.
I am thankful Canada is o the road to full legalisation. I think it is a great plant and if someone wants to use it, especially for medicinal purposes, they should be able to without persecution (or prosecution).

I also use for 99% of the times i medicate a vaporiser. If it would be treated like a herb or vegetable we could exchange strains all over the planet and it would be very beneficial... for the people, not for the ones "in control". Thanks for your comment ! :)

I have found that any government which does not allow cannabis has another agenda, ie. Making it a criminal offence to use or possess helps to fill prisons that are more and more becoming a money making institution for the private companies that run them and the government's that use them!

Never been a supporter of this but I am surprised by how many uses cannabis actually has. I mean to think clothing can even be made from this.

Here is my biggest problem with Pot activism: The sheer amount of BS. Look I support legalizing Pot. I'm not a user myself, but I understand it's mostly harmless, and certainly much less harmful than many other substances that are perfectly legal. Go ahead, legalize it, you have my vote.
But I have seen cannabis proposed as a miracle cure to EVERYTHING! There is literally no possible health benefit or condition that you can think of that pot proponents out there wont claim it to bestow or cure.
No, pot is not a miracle cure or an untapped medical phenomena. It is a relatively mild drug that is used mostly for recreation but can also have some uses in pain management or treating anxiety. That's it.

Are you from the future? There are many people studying the topic and say promissing things about it, but you seem to know more then them. Where do they go wrong? In this study from 2014 they still said it was very promissing ... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4171598/ Please update this study and tell me where they went of track ... Thanks :)

I am not saying that cannabis has no medical applications, of course it does. I'm saying I've seen it touted as a miracle cure that can address literally almost anything.
Depression: Pot
Anxiety: Pot
Pain: Pot
IBS: Pot
High Blood Pressure: Pot
Cancer: Pot
Alzhiemers: Pot
Autism: Pot
Fibro Mailgia: Pot
Skin Wrinkles: Pot
Muscle Soreness: Pot
Acne: Pot
Arthritis: Pot
pot pot pot pot pot
You name it, some "Study" claims that pot will cure it.

Cannabis has been in our diets for millenia ... taking it out of the diet might be a reason for that ... https://www.medicaljane.com/2013/11/08/cannabinoid-deficiency-may-explain-a-variety-of-health-conditions/ I worked in a coffeeshop in the Netherland (budtender) and there were people with all kinds of diseases that called it their medicine ... We had to stop letting forgeign people in the shops (politics, it was only in a few cities near the border) and I had sick people crying in front of me, because they didn't know where to go for decent "medicine" and they had to buy it on the streets, where you never know what you will get. Was heartbreaking to see ...
