I've been to many dispensaries in my life . I'm talking about pre-legalization in California where the prices were a bit my reasonable and the thought of tax was non-existent. When I had a medical card, I was enjoying weed of all different price points because they had anything for anyone's budget. Now that legalization is here, prices are not confirmed until you get ringed up and dispensaries are forced to give huge discounts (30% - 50%) just to keep their customer base.
