Well there's alot of reasons but for me it because liquor is controlled and heavily taxed and makes you less healthy in the long run witch causes the pharmaceutical company to make money. It wasnt to long ago that liquor was illegal . Cannabis on other hand is hard to tax but is useful for 1000 reasons and can be grown by anyone and in the end to many big corps like the textile and pharmaceutical would loose money and the MAN cant have that.
