Distilling the spirit of the plant kingdom. ; eg. essential oils is an art and a science. When mixed in with the art of alchemy and then the Alchemists will Be revealed. Most essential oils distillers use methods of extracting essential oils that use alcohol. @ different temperature to remove selected constituents from plant material .Essential oils can be extracted by using home made. Alcohol and not all alcohols are the same ,as thay have different interaction with the Profiles of the plant kingdom .This is my fav. For LAVENDER USE organic only 45 % 190 proof spirit of red wine
45 % 192 PROOF spirit of RYE. .
