Evergrow Cannabis Company: A Peek into the Recreational Cannabis Industry

EverGrow Northwest is locally owned, by Roger, and operated in the Olympia WA area. EverGrow has been in business since September of 2014. The building is an unassuming warehouse on a decent size plot of land off the beaten path in an industrial area. 

Roger himself came out to greet us and gave us a quick tour of the outside property. His jovial nature and laid back attitude made us comfortable and we were ready to get the tour started.

 The first room is like any other business. It's a waiting area that would remind you of an office space or a doctor's office. Complete with it's first dollar earned framed on the wall. 

As we walked into the processing area, we were greeted by busy employees trimming and pre-rolling joints. All the employees were quick with a smile and eager to answer any questions we had. But, Work is work and we let them get back to it. 

Roger takes us to the 1st stage room where they vegetate their cannabis. He explains how he is using lighting that produces very little heat. 

"Go ahead and touch the light with your hand." Roger says.

Myself being someone who grows for a hobby knows that isn't the smartest idea, but I was interested. I put my hand to the light. I tapped the light several times before finally leaving it there. It was warm to the touch, but not hot by any means.

"Wow, How much are these?" I asked excitedly

"About 1500$ each." Roger replied. 

 I was amazed by the lack of heat production, but as a hobbyist, not looking to pay that much.

The room and plants were efficient and well regulated. He also keeps his mothers (A plant in which you take clones from) in the same room. 

Seeing the bloom room was obviously the highlight of the tour. The whole area hummed with fans, but had a fruity aroma to it. Not only was it a beauty to see as a Cannabis Specialist and enthusiast, but to see the efficiency and order of his business. It was like this is how it's been done forever. 

After the tour the employees showed us some products that were in the works and not quite ready for distribution. Their enthusiasm in their readiness to show us the product of their labor was infecting.

I have been smoking Evergrow for more than a year now. I love their strains like "Dirty White Girls" or "Ace of Spades" and to see their operation and team behind the cannabis, there is little doubt why they produce such a good product. They love their work and what they are forging for the future.

 Before we left I asked Roger if he had any advice for anyone moving to the State to start their own grow op.

"Go home and do it where you came from."
