I wanted to drop a quick post about these Boveda packs, since I only discovered them a few years ago and they are a huge difference-maker in maintaining my cannabis.

Essentially, they are mini packets that function similarly to a cigar humidor for the purposes of humidity control. For cannabis, you want to use the 62% or 58% packs (I use 62 but make no claim one is better than another, it depends on your preferences.)

You drop them in an airtight container with your cannabis, and they do their thing. Here you can see two 8-gram packs chilling with two ounces of Blue Dream, along with a hygrometer.

Boveda recommends at least one 8 gram pack per ounce (more is actually better, as the packets self-regulate and more packs means less likelihood of them drying out.)

While these packs aren't miracle-workers, they do wonders for marijuana that comes to you a bit drier than optimal if you give them time to do their thing.

The best part about all this is that they're pretty cheap, and you can even recharge and reuse them once they dry out (but that's another post for another day!)

If you've always wanted to buy larger quantities of cannabis but were worried about long-term storage, these plus an airtight jar do the trick quite nicely. There are certainly better ways to store cannabis from a long-term preservation standpoint, but as far as cost versus impact, this works great for most users.

Stay smokin', my friends.
