    I would say look for used dslrs. Canon or Sony make quite good ones. I was able to get this camera for under 500$.

      A good camera in that range would be the Canon Rebel T5 or T6 but you can check the prices online to compare for yourself. I have a Canon T3i but the newer version has a touchscreen flip out screen as well as an upgraded sensor. Hope this helps @allitalkistech
