Testing of the Canon 80D with the Tamron 18-400mm lens. Lots of problems with drift. Apparently my Manfrotto tripod and Manfrotto video pan head wasn't sturdy enough for it.
We start with Venus in the WNW then over to Sirius in the SW. Then there's Jupiter rising along with the 98.6% lit Moon rising up out of the trees, very close together.
We head up to Spica which was ahead of Jupiter, then over to Arcturus in the East, and back over to Procyon in the SW which was up above Sirius.
Then out came the trusty ole Nikon P900 near the end for some zooming of Jupiter and the Moon.
Wow, what a looong night! It took over 8 hours from filming, reviewing, editing & uploading. phew! Sorry for the length!!
