Sometimes it seems like we are in our own crypto eco-chamber but the mentality is slowing starting to change in the masses. The fastest way to mass adoption is through self greed. Satoshi knew this best and was all part of his plan from day one. The word greed is used for lack of a better term. As Gordon Gekko said, Greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Once the Socialist buys their first Crypto everything changes. They now own a stake in the network and a portion of their success is now tied to that crypto's success. Its social without the tragedy of the commons problem that has killed Socialism through the ages. No one's forcing a gun to there heads to do it and they are feel to pick and choose cryptos based on their ideals.

I'm not so sure about point #4. In the current system, the wealthy pretty much dictate what the lawmakers do via political contributions and lobbying, not to mention all the backroom deals that nobody knows about!

So, the rich indirectly have a very material impact on the financial well being of the masses due to the influence on the government.

I’m really surprised to see all these comments because my (10 day) steemit experience has been about the economy of abundance.

Still, just this morning I was thinking of how to turn my USD to STEEM, so my articles will be worth more. That’s not abundance mentality - THAT IS CALITALISM.

I guess I’m a capitalist - who believes there is enough food on this planet that we can feed everyone... 🤔🤔 Nope, “Free” food for all makes me a socialist.

AND The food I think should be free is local fruits, veggies, bread/tortillas, and legumes (peas, beans, etc).
