The most beautiful place in Cappadocia. It's castle is enchanting... There are volcanic stones, masters keeping the traditional crafts alive in alleys, delicious food and warm people... The romanticism of Uçhisar is so different!

Cappadocia was formed 60 million years ago after the subsequent volcaniceruptions in the Erciyes and Hasan Mountains in the region. The word "Cappadocia" has no ethnic meaning and the earliest form of the word. "Katpatuka", is seen on an inscription bu the Persian King Darius I arround the Behistun Rocks towards the end of the 6th century BC. The inscription was a list of lands ruled by the Persian king. It is thought that the word comes from the Persian "Tukha" of "Land Of Dukha", which means " The Land of Beautiful Horses"...

The stones that got cold on the surface of the earth after the volcanic eruptions are still erect, and this is a wonder of nature. These formations are called Fairy Chimneys... Thousands of tourists come to the region to see this miracle. People willingly pass through difficult underground roads and climb hills to see these easily be argued that Cappadocia is one of those rare places where the sunrise and sunset are most romantic.
However, the peak of this beauty is Uçhisa, the most favourite area of the region. Thanks to Uçhisar, the highest point of Cappadocia, you can view all the beauties of the region. Whether night or day, the landscape enchants people and it almost lengthens one's life.
Uçhisar is also the most popular place in Cappadocia. Because the place atracts hoards of people with its stands where local products are sold between allyes and the classical, jazz or Turjish classical music concerts organized both during winter and summer. The restraurants serving delicious local food and the boutique hotels competing with one another only add up to the attractiveness of the area...
