Comfy but short lived: Snugride car seat

\n\nHolding the baby at the back seat for a long distance journey is not a small task, especially if the baby is a weighty one like mine. So I got the Graco Snugride connect 30 infant car seat to ease wy wife's task and make long distance journey more interesting for both of us.

The seat looked well padded with all the necessary paraphernalia to fulfill its primary function as an infant car seat as well as a secondary one as a baby carrier. It has an adjustable handle for easy lifting and also a detachable base that comes in handy while the product functions as a car seat but not necessary as a baby carrier off the car.

One interesting thing about Snugride classic is that it is equipped with an adjustable seat belt which can be adjusted to suit the height of the baby as he/she grows with time. It also has a plug for attachment with a stroller. It's just like having a single product that can serve triple purpose; a baby car seat, stroller or just an ordinary carrier.

I encountered a bit of difficulty coupling the seat together with the manual a bit unclear, perhaps it's just me. I eventually got around at when I consulted the Web for directions. For a product that I got for almost $90, I was a bit pained that my baby quickly outgrew it both in height and in width. He's a bit of a giant and each time I try to fix him into it, he cries me a river. If only it had an adjustable width and height.

As much as i love this three in one car seat for babies, the limitation it has is that children hate it when they outgrow it ,simply because they would like to move around. However,it advantage far outweigh it disadvantage. This is a good innovative that can be improved upon and also become a bicycle. Besides, the baby is really cute.

Aww sooo cute baby. Hmm, car seat for baby is the safest way to protect babies while driving.

Most of the car seat comes in one size fit all and sometimes it pays to buy in presence than absence so as to gage the fit of the baby. Car seat has been saving baby lives from the 80s just like the seat belt is saving our lives too. Having a car seat turned into a stroller is an added advantage but I guess it's not useful now until a new baby comes in.

P.S the company should look into providing more rooms for plus size babies.

I agree. More can be done for plus sized babies or produce ones with adjustable size

I've seen this being used by several people and I don't know how useful this might be in the long run. That's a cute baby you've got there.

Infant car seats are usually a short term thing especially for fast growing babies like yours. I will like to see an innovative one that grows with the child.
