Oftime we think of the weak around us an extremely vulnerable sets of people especially in the area of strength. But unfortunately its not so neither is it true as being weak could be in diversity of ways such as Health, physical, material, emotional to mention but a few.
Jesus said;
...the poor you will always have with you.
This means the weak both materially and financially you will always have and so the need behooves on us to at all times and places as much as rests in our power to care for these weak ones around us.
In Matthew 25:34-46
Jesus illustrates the importance of caring for the weak. He makes it expressly clear to us that it is a service to him directly to care for the weak in our midst. The scriptures say; He that giveth to the poor lendeth to God. How would we love. To lend to God even without his asking, wao! What a privilege?
It is unfortunate and quite pathetic that we live in a word where people who are "strong" constantly seek for the weak to take advantage of, explore and exploit them with llittle or no recompense fpr their labour. We have school or organisations who explore services of financially desperate individuals just bevause they will have to pay them far below the standard.
There are some who are specialist in playing in peoples emotions without recourse how they feel. Some even make mockery of other peoples spiritual weakness, believe me here with prejudice every seed sown comes eith its characteristic harvest so watch what and how you do what you do. Gal 6:7
Beloved no true christain or believer should turn his or her back on anyone who ever needs help. That is not thr nature of our father and saviour Lord Jesus christ, the bible say he went about doing good, healing and mending the broken hearted. Acts 10:38.
