So, reality hit me this weekend regarding being in the national guard, starting my business in the Crypto Space, and the conflicts that could pop up down the line. Not sure why but it didn’t really click to me when I first started planning this out about crossing in the Space. This weekend I wasn’t able to upload any post or any of the news because of where we were in the field. Needless to say, connecting that with talks about our mob year (meaning the unit is deployable) coming up. I don’t feel scared or worried about it. I’m just taking it as part of the journey. It sounds nonchalant but that’s just how I’m taking.
I know some of you are thinking well why not just quit and call it a day. First off that’s not how it works. My battles out there know what I mean. Second, honestly, there are aspects that I like about the military. I like going to the different places and meeting the different people. I know there are those who say it I‘m apart of the system. I don’t argue my role. But I also say, when did you stop paying your taxes to bankroll the way the military is used around the world?
I’m saying this to those still in whether guard, reserves, or active. This is especially for my active folks; the uniform doesn’t last forever. Take advantage of the services provided while in, talk with the old heads to understand how to best use your benefits, network whenever possible, and make sure to plan for life outside the uniform. The last thing, if things are looking rough and you need help or just someone to talk to, reach out for help. I know its easier said than done but all it takes is a call or text. Check on your battles.
