When you hear caribbean a lot come to mind.
One of them should be sunshine, warm weather, unlimited beaches.
I realized the caribbean is really big with all the islands spread from North America
all the way to South America.
If you live there you know about hurricanes that taunted you every time the weather is warm.

At the same time this is the place you find a delicious seafood named conch that have a savor
special and could be aphrodisiac if you eat a lot of it. that is what they say.
After you eat you have to dance.

Right in the bed of the Carib, music is the essence. So many genres it will take me
an eternity to mention them all.
Soca, salsa, calypso, reggae, meringue, dancehall, troubadour, konpa, zouk and many more
you can think of.
Lately the emergence and mixture bring to life new genre that we love so much.

One of the small island Martinique has develop a genre that inherited from Konpa and other genres
has produced Zouk. Lately #Zouk has fell to mansuetude.
Not too many artists from Martinique or Guadeloupe pushed it as before.
The good part they left an array of songs we can find pleasure to listen.
Martinique was colonized by the French so Zouk is mostly in french or Martinique Creole.
I will do my best to post quite a few of the artists that left their mark on this genre.

This gentleman is Thierry Cham and this is a sweet balad.
This #jahm is all about a lady. As you can see he will go anywhere
to make her happy.
Zouk tends to be quick in the rythm but really smooth moving.
Enjoy
