Carnivore 75 Hard Redux: Day Eight

Nutrition & Healing

Fasted overnight for about 17 and a half hours. I broke that with a pound of the single-source ground beef I got from Colorado Craft Beef, some of the bacon I got from one of my last Butcher Box shipments, and six pasture-raised eggs. The beef was cooked into four quarter-pound patties and topped with some raw sharp cheddar. According to Cronometer, this meal was over 2,000 calories and met most of my nutrition needs for the whole day. Not bad! I don't track everything I eat, but I do enter the information into Cronometer from time to time.

Later in the day, I made another pound of beef into four quarter-pound patties topped with more of the raw sharp cheddar. All in all, that was about two pounds of beef, some cheese, some bacon, and some eggs.

Mindset


During the walk with Stella T. Dog today, I listened to a great episode of the Low Carb MD Podcast featuring an interview with Dr. Eric Sodicoff. A lot of it was spent doing even more debunking of The Game Changers, the most recent in a line of vegan propaganda films making the rounds on the likes of Netflix. I haven't put myself through that one yet, but it sounds like it's even more ridiculous than What The Health.
