Porsche unveiled recently its 911 GT3 RS with a Weissach facelift at the New York Motor Show. The facelift kit not only makes the Porsche more aggressive, but lighter also.
The 911 GT3 RS facelift was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show, now Porsche detailing the Weissach kit. This offers a carbon fiber ceiling and magnesium rims to the new GT3 RS. The Stuttgart based car manufacturer managed to save some car paint with the Weissach kit by not painting the bonnet and carbon fiber slider with the car's color.
On the interior new customers will have much lighter mats and carbon fiber changing gear paddles. After all the "diet" that the GT3 RS went through it managed to loose 29 kg having a kerb weight of 1476 kg.
Out of the 4.0-liter 6-cylinder engine Porsche managed to squeeze 520 hp coupled to a 7-speed PDK gearbox. Price for the "green rocket" starts at just over $173,000 and will be delivered in the UK from June 2018.
