After the introduction of the model 125 S, Ferrari has built more powerful version in the same year.
It was the Ferrari 159 S. As in case of 125 S, the name indicates the volume of each cylinder.
The engine was again V-12 with the same constructor behind - Colombo. Total displacement: 1903 ccm, fed via 3 carburetors.
Power was increased to 125 CV achieved at 7.000 rpm.
By the way, "giri/minuto" sonds way better than rpm...
Transmission was again 5-speed.
Only two cars were made and today one of them is in the collection of James Glickenhaus, the same guy who got P4/5 by Pininfarina and SCG 003 project.
