A little over a year ago, my girlfriend and I took a trip to Chicago and visited Lake Forest Sports Cars. To my surprise, when I walked in, this was sitting on the show room floor.
Now for those of you who don't know, this is a Koenigsegg One:1. It is based off the Agera chassis, but is not an Agera, it is its own stand alone car. Many reporters and car enthusiasts call it the Koenigsegg Agera One:1, but that is not correct. This is a VERY special car. To begin with, it was the first car on record to have a one kilogram to one horsepower ratio, weighing in at 1,360kg and producing 1,360bhp form its 5 liter twin turbo V8, hence the name. Also, there are only 7 of them in the world; originally there was 6 production cars but the test mule that Koenigsegg used to help create the car was then turned into another production car and sold. All the cars reportedly had a "base price" of 3.6 million dollars.
The car pictured here is Chassis #112, and the final One:1 produced. I had asked the salesmen at the dealership and he told me that because this was the only one in the US; the price they were selling it for was 4.2 million dollars. It was pretty incredible to see this car in person, and it was definitely the most expensive car I have seen to date.
More post coming soon of other cars I saw on this trip.

They need to take this to the 'Ring and get a record !

They had tried back in July, but because of a ABS system failure in the front left wheel they had a pretty bad crash. Sad thing to, is it was an actual customers car that they were using, I believe it was the only car that was sold in Germany. But Koenigsegg released a statement saying that they are rebuilding the car and plan on returning and trying again.

Yeah i'm sure they did. They actual had a car that was on display at the 2017 Geneva Auto Show, it was a highly customized Agera RS called the "Gryphon", long story short they had crashed it a couple months later during its shake down testing. It was for a customer in LA, he later said that Koenigsegg was going to build him another car which was even more customized, and Koenigsegg was going to rebuild it and use it as their new test mule for the company.

O yeah I'm sure they will be fixing that for a little bit. I think Koenigsegg produces something like 10 cars a year, don't quote me on that though. I think its more now that they are producing the Regera in addition.
