This was one cool little race car that I found at the New york Auto Con last year, the Datsun Fairlady was a little convertible sports car that Nissan made for the 1960's. This Fairlady has a modern SR20DET 4cylinder all aluminum turbo engine swapped into it, I can only imagine how much fun this car can be to drive on the street or the race track. The Power to weight ratio should be phenomenal especially weighing under 2000lbs! I didn't even know that this car existed until I went to Auto Con, I though the Honda S600/S800 was the only Japanese roadster in the market during the 60's. The SR20DET motor can originally be found in 180SX, the S13 S14 and S15 Silvia. An engine so good that Nissan used it for over 10 years!

SR20DET swapped into its rightful home the 240SX or also known as the 180SX
