With Geneva International Motor Show 2018 just round the corner kicking-off next week, I thought it would be a good time for a Throwback Thursday to see how my impressions from visiting the show last year have stood against the test of time. For this purpose I've created a series of blog posts to share with you here at @Steemit.
Triumph of Green Color Cars
I love green cars, especially shades of classic British racing green. Car colors are no exception to fashion trends and it seems green is among the ones. Koenigsegg Regera was shown in green tinted carbon fiber - choice of color for 2mUSD one of only 80 units hypercar tells a lot about how manufacturer sees what the customers want at the top-end. And more likely what will feature on our desktops.
Mercedes Benz also premiered its E-class coupe in green, that's a sound marketing move with the color choice. Image the steps marketing team needs to go through internally to obtain approval for green to be the first color world will see its E-class coupe covered in. Mercedes-Benz is traditionalist, much more volume oriented manufacturer and introduction of its new coupe in green was an obvious indication of the color revival.
Later during the year trend was followed by a number of sound premiers: Ford Mustang Bullitt, Audi RS5 to mention a few.
I do hope green color choice for cars is here to stay. What do you think, does the E-class coupe look classy in green or not?
