On the eve of the 2018 Chinese New Year, my car decided to give me a surprise!
Last night I went to clean up the junk in my car, and when I tried to close the rear left door, it just bounce open again everytime. At last, it was my turn to be hit by another common issue of the Ford Fiesta - broken door latch.
It's a worldwide problem for Fiestas made from 2011-2014, and in other countries there has been recalls on this issue. But Malaysia being Malaysia, Sime Darby AutoConnexion has been quiet about this.
Anyway, no time to fix this now, will have to wait until next week. For the time being, as you can see from the picture above, I'll have to tape it down.
Well you know FORD stands for Fix Or Replace Daily.My mother has a new Fiesta actually. She used to work for Ford to so you can blame her if you like! 😂
